August 6th - Wow, once a month...

Ah, yes...The joy of a good prank. If only there wasn't a big possibility, that C'thuluh might actually live in Mimi's toilet...

Anyway, back again, now with some single comic-jokes. I'm a bit tired with the long story-lines, so you'll have to settle with this.

In other news, I'm currently back at school to finish my second term. Only one more left and and then I can call myself properly educated in exactly one year. Whoopey.

After only twoo weeks there, I have begun calling the school Purgatory in my mind. The more time I spend there, the more I feel like I'm being punished for something: Sitting hour after hour in uncomfortable chairs, listening to teachers, who very well know none of us are interested in what they're saying; not because it's not important, but because most of us have spent quite some time now working 40-hour (and definately more) weeks, and simply have no patience for sitting still. Furthermore, the big assignment for this term is just an extension of what we did during the last term: Writing a report about running a restaurant.

The big problem about this is, that we are apprentices: We don't do anything else at work than work; we don't order groceries, we don't do taxes and we don't know much more about the restaurants than what goes on in the kitchen. And they want us to write a report on how to run one?!

One of the other apprentices asked my teacher, why we had to write the report and he answered, that it was because our government wanted us to start buisnesses of our own, when we graduated. Which is fine, but no one has ever learned how to run a buisness from two lessons a week for ten weeks.

Anyway, summer has finally arrived in Denmark. It's balmy 26°C (78.8°F) during the day and pleasant 17°C (62.6°F) at night. And I'm still as pale as ever, because I've spent so much time in a kitchen and now have to spend it at school.

Untill next time, have fun!
